Do you handle roof replacements, or just repairs?
We provide design and oversight for both. Our process follows three steps: Diagnose, Prescribe, Treat. We start with visual inspection and a full diagnosis, then prescribe the right path (targeted repair or full replacement) based on the roof's actual condition, and manage the treatment phase, including scope, budget, contractor selection, and quality control, from start to finish. We never swing the hammer ourselves; that independence is exactly what makes our recommendations unbiased.
What's the difference between a Roofing Consultant and a Roofing Contractor?
A Roofing Contractor sells and installs roofing products. A Roofing Consultant, especially a Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) or Registered Roof Observer (RRO), works for you, not the contractor. We inspect, diagnose, write independent repair or replacement specs, and oversee the contractor's work to make sure everything is done right the first time.
What types of buildings do you work with?
We specialize in occupied building remediation for multifamily properties, commercial buildings, government buildings, mixed-use properties, and schools. We do work on new construction, but our focus is on diagnosing and fixing existing, occupied buildings.

What is a Registered Roof Consultant, and why does it matter?
A Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) is a credential from the industry's leading roof consulting association (IIBEC), requiring years of documented experience and a rigorous exam. It means the person overseeing your project has proven, independent technical expertise.
How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?
Our Registered Roof Consultant & Observers typically start with an on-site inspection to assess the building, and that's when we can tell you whether it needs repair or a full replacement.
